The secret is that Noel cooks A LOT even when I’m home. He does a lot of our quick weeknight meals, whereas I do most of the involved things on the weekends that we then eat through the rest of the week. When I met Noel, I was living on Lean Cuisine–he really taught me the first baby steps of how to cook.

He is however, terrified of baked goods. Our bread machine (which a three year old could operate) he won’t touch. And whenever I ask him to take a look at something baking in the oven, he runs!

Beth, does Noel cook for himself when you’re away? I have a suspicion that The Mistah eats nothing but cereal if I’m not around.

I’ve never been much of a slaw fan (i’m not much of a vinegar fan!) but Noel certainly is. So this one goes in the “recipes for when Beth is away” file.
