Emily, the irony of my astrological symbol is totally not lost on me. I am as stereotypical a Cancer as you'll find - hard exterior but quite vulnerable underneath it all. I also tend to shuffle sideways and flex my pinchers on the dance floor ; )

He made Reubens? That's a good man. My PCP will be pleased to know that it's been ages since I've had one...but I do love 'em.

The cutting board was where the chicken landed before we gobbled it up so I figured that was a good a place as any to take its picture. I get kind of bored of taking pictures on the same white plates all the time.

This is so sweet! Well, Wendi, Cancer IS the signof the CRAB!

"Crankypants" is not the term the spouse would use to describe one of my moods. I think he would probably be more likely to liken me to the female canine species. And an alpha one at that!

In truth, my mood over the last couple of months before the move was not the greatest in the world. Sometimes, after working, then fighting my way home and packing to move dinner was the last thing onmy agenda.

In an attempt to live another day the spouse would occasionally volunteer tomake dinner. this was usually met with a derisive WHATEVER!

The last time he offered to make dinner he came home equipped with dark rye bread, swiss cheese, corned beef, coleslaw and potato chips. He declared that HE would make the russioan dressing and we would have Reubens.

They were the most delicious sandwiches ever!

Note to self: allow spouse to piddle around in kitchen more often!

Orange glazed chicken sounds definitely yummy gonna try this for the weekend.
